Deviant Art user Leo-Tux has created a whole slew of pipe-cleaner figures/ sculptures/ toys based on popular video game characters. Pokemon, Professor Layton, Yoshi and more can be found in his gallery. The detail on these works is pretty incredible, I can only imagine how painstaking the process must be to create each one of these objects. I also very much enjoy the playfulness of his photographic documentation (particularly the parkour style photo of Prof Layton), where he poses the figures, and plays with composition; framing, depth of field etc. To create some fairly interesting photographic results, most of which really seem to bring these pipe cleaner creatures to life.
