Press Start continued: Console Wars

I was just looking at the online store for the Press Start Show In MTL, and i came across this beauty.   Stéphane Pétrin’s CONSOLE WARS is a clever mashup of all the things I wanted/ coveted or hand when I was a child when the NES was released.   Made of recycled materials; an old NES, a Zapper, and what looks like some tank treads and vehicle parts from some long discontinued GI Joe toy line, Console Wars is an interesting look at that whole cartoonish 80′s military culture that was could only be borne out of creating a cartoon about “American Heroes” fighting terrorism during the Reagan years.   Now it if it was also still a functioning NES, that would be even better.
